The Society of St Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization that helps the poor and those in temporary need. We are a person to person Catholic ministry that sees the face of Christ in the faces of those in need. We operate in most parishes in the Milwaukee Archdiocese, in every state in the union, and in 132 countries around the world.
The St Vincent de Paul Conference in the parish is a group of dedicated people who put into action our Catholic faith to serve those in need. Our ministries include visiting the homes of those in need, providing financial and food assistance, or sometimes just listening.
We also help in other ways, such as conducting the Bundle Sunday collections, coordinating blood drives, and serving meals at the SVDP meal site at 10th and Madison every third Wednesday.
This ministry is open to parishioners of all ages, teens to seniors. Families are welcome to join us too. If you feel called to consider this ministry, please contact the Parish Office with your name and number. We will then contact you with any additional information.
Blood Drives
The St. Vincent de Paul Society and Our Lady of Lourdes partners with the Blood Center of Wisconsin twice a year to host blood drives. Visit our Blood Drives page to see when our next blood drive is schedule and learn why giving blood is so important.
